The cost of translating a one-page Birth or Marriage Certificate will usually range from $55 to $95. Generally, allow $25 to $45 for a second page.

Make sure we can read your document. Old handwritten birth certificates can be very difficult to read. Names and places which are familiar to family members may not be clear to your translator. Your translator can only translate what they can read.

These include the number of words, numbers, images (e.g. stamps/seals) and the number of pages.  It also includes how easy the document is to read (is it typed or handwritten). If a document contains technical language (e.g. legal or financial terms) and requires a lot of formatting, also impacts the cost. You should also let us know if you require your document urgently.
